Can't Drive
Thursday, December 27, 7:56 PM
I got home at 4:30ish. My dad was somehow irritated that he doesn't see me hanging out with alot of girls. But whatever, he should trust me. So it was sophmore Danny, science bowl Joseph, plus Joseph's little grade school brother, Martin, that came to Eastridge today. The drive there is comparable to when I was driven by Kaycee, except those sharp turns that Joseph makes. It's bad driving in action there. Nice car, with nice music though. Danny was able to buy Michelle all her gifts. Martin has eyebags, he stayed up until one yesterday. We went several rounds across the mall, and Joseph has little sense of direction. We bumbled in several directions, until I took charge. Saw Sunny with his mother, and sister. There was a nice sale at Bath and Body's today, and the line was longer each second. This is really the first time I talked to Joseph, and I figured so many things about him. He really opened up to us; I was sort of laughing when he kept bring up his love life trauma. Danny and Joseph mat a pitstop to AMPM for soda. I sat in the car with Martin, bonding time. Then there was a drive to Baskin Robbins; I didn't like the flavor I got. Danny discovered the joy of Ross department store shopping afterwards. I'm glad the new people I met aren't as reserved about me; it would've been difficult talking to them then. Joseph was ready to drive us all back to school, but we compromised, asking him to hang at Barnes and Nobles. Yeah, but the funny thing was; when we arrived, I wasn't in the book-reading mood. Instead, I waited a bit for the guys to finish up their mangas. Out into the mall again, I saw Danh. He gave me a great big hug, and Danny got a pretty lusty one as well. Talked, Danh looked happier today and his eye got better. Then odd, we noticed all our peers in Eastridge. Took a breather outside, and was driven back to Andrew Hill. Story doesn't go on much longer.
